1. We Value EXCELLENCE The body of Christ is called to minister in excellence with a passion like none other.
We honor God and inspire people when we give the Lord our very best.
2. We Value COMMUNITY The church is defined by Paul as being " those who have
been sanctified in Christ Jesus, Saints by calling, with all, who
in every place, call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, their
Lord and ours." Christianity is a community of Saints. Within
that community we find strength, acceptance, love and belonging.
3. We Value CULTURAL RELEVANCY The Lord's commission upon his followers to "go
into all the world and preach the good news to all creation" commands a sense of apostleship as well as an evangelistic heart
within the believer. Keeping with the apostle Paul's words, "I
become all things to all people so that by all possible means
some might be saved," we strive to make our ministries and
lives culturally relevant, yet doctrinally pure.
4. We Value GIFT-BASED MINISTRY Gift-based Ministry is the means by which every member
of the body contributes to the whole.
God has called each of us
to be a minister of His love to Christians and & non-Christians
alike.
As ministerial tools, He has freely given each believer
gifts, talents and special anointing.
It is through these Spiritual
gifts that one ministers in an effective and fulfilling manner.
5. We Value THE FAMILY We seek to provide an atmosphere which strengthens
marriages and families.
The family's authority structures, special
dispensations of grace, strong bonds of love,
and commitments
of unity are clear reflections of the intended functionality of
God's family of believers.
6. We Value an ATMOSPHERE OF ACCEPTANCE Christianity is a community of believers, yet one's
thoughts and feelings are uniquely individual in nature. We believe
the Spirit is at work inside every believer, making him or her
more like Christ,
but where each individual is, within that process
is known only by the Spirit of God.
Therefore, we choose to suspend
judgment and instead walk in an atmosphere of acceptance.
7. We Value BIBLICAL AUTHORITY Not for means of limitations - but for reasons of
freedom - we value biblical authority.
The parameters set by honoring
the authority of scripture and the authorities mentioned therein give freedom for the community of believers to live Spirit-lead
lives and minister with the anointing and power of God.
